I Stand Corrected...

I stand corrected, my friends.

The other day, I wrote something about Earl Hebner getting around $250,000 per year for his services as a referee, making him the highest paid wrestling referee in the history of wrestling referees.

I was wrong.

The actual figure is reportedly closer to $500,000 per year, making him the highest paid wrestling referee in the history of wrestling referees.

"How Do You Work This Thing...?!?!?!?"

Yes, I am a jerk. I didn't just take a picture of this poor dude, I shot video of him. And many others as well.

Back when THE DUDE~! was first born, he had to remain in the hospital for two whole months. Yeah, that sucked. Anyways, that meant daily visits to the hospital, sometime twice daily. In my frequent visits, I noticed a problem with the parkling lot machine, you know, those things where you push the button, the ticket comes out, the arm goes up, and you enter the lot?

So the machine was busted. Sometimes. People would push the button. Nothing would happen. They'd push and push and push and push, and still nothing. They'd beat on it, hit it, kick, try to pry the machine open. All the while a long lineup is forming behind them, so they can't get out.

The poor dude pictured above was one of the unfortunate ones to have a problem with the machine. At the moment this image was taken, he was so frustrated he got out of his car. He looked around (perhaps for a hidden camera filming his tragedy?), and began violently scratching his head while trying to figure out what to do next.

I have to add that eventually he got the machine to work. The next car pulled up. You know what? It had no problem getting straight into the lot. The machine operated perfectly. Talk about OWNED. That poor sap was stuck out in -20 degree temperatures and snow for ages trying to get that thing to work. Oh well.

Well, I'm off to do some cardio. I actually had my first actual workout (read: with weights!) in seemingly months last night. Due to the elbow, I couldn't do much, and doing triceps is impossible (at least for that arm). Very basic, easy, light stuff. It almost seems counterproductive, but it's better than sitting around not training at all. I can only lift about half of my usual bench press due to the elbow, which makes me sad.
